Girl Scouts in Coronado started back in 1917 with Troop 1. Troop 1 is the oldest Girl Scout Troop west of the Rockies. That troop number is still in use today by a Brownie troop. We have 22 troops in our service unit ranging from Daisys to Ambassadors. All girls age 5-18 are invited to join Girl Scouts, where we build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. We are always in search of interested parents, mentors, volunteers and leaders as well.

The Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
